Helen's academic background is in modern dance and fine arts.  After graduating from Mills College, CA, she toured the world and eventually became a professor of modern dance at New Zealand's University of Otago.  There Helen married Larry Goldberg, a commercial diver, and has been Larry's "dive buddy" for the past 26 years.

Helen views her love of diving through the eyes of a dancer and an artist - the undersea movement, color, texture, and drama.  Nature's choreography is hard to capture, and she explores silk painting as a medium to express her visual thoughts.  Silk has the unique quality of replicating the vibrancy, movement and subtleties of the underwater world.  Helen's artistic impressions reflect her experiences in the USA, South Pacific, Caribbean, and Europe.  Her studio is presently located in Florida.

Larry Goldberg, SeaSilk's marketing director, has been a commercial diver and nondestructive testing specialist for over 25 years.  His company, Sea Test Services, is well known in the underwater inspection industry.  Larry is also a free-lance writer for dive and sail magazines.
